“Is any sick among you? Let him call for the elders of the church; and let them pray over him ( James 5:14 KJV )

A PAGE FROM THE ORDER OF SAINT LUKE

There is a Divine Power within me that permeates my entire being, that makes and keeps me perfectly whole.
Restfully and peacefully I repose in the truth of the above words. I now relax and let go of nerves. I yield myself fully to the healing of Christ. His peace and love pervade my whole being. All tension is relieved.
I now rest in the Truth that has been given to me. GOD is the strength of my life. All the issues of my life are from GOD, and He is a well of living water within me. In Him we live and move and have our being. I relax in mind and body, and willingly let the Christ Spirit do its perfect work in and for me. As I quietly reflect in this way, I am revitalized, strengthened, and healed through Jesus Christ.

I cannot heal myself; neither can I be healed through anxious prayer. But when I rest in the silence, healing comes silently and swiftly, so that I find myself whole, before I am aware of any healing taking place.
“The wind blows where it wants to. You hear the sound, but you don’t know where it comes from or where it is going. That’s the way it is with everyone who is born of the Spirit.” John 3:8

” The Lord is my Sheppard, I shall not want “

“The Lord is my Sheppard I shall not want” (Psalm 23:1)in the English of yore this meant that we have no need for anything, that the Lord will provide all. Unfortunately in the English of today we are more likely define ‘want’ as a desire to have something. (wormwood does his job well) So if one reads this passage as a stand alone truism, than we can conjure up a myriad definitions to suit our own purposes, voila we have God in a box put safely away in a closet for future use, after all we are Christians and its only proper to keep God around.

” thou shalt have no other gods before me ” ( the first commandment ).
To often we say ‘ok I got it , he’s in the box in my closet waiting for me to call him when I need him’ after all we have a life to live. Here is when we need to remember who is charge and specifically already stated that we shall have no ‘WANT’.

It is time to open open the closet, and open the box and allow God to lead our lives through the Holy Spirit, and and proclaim the kingdom, opened for us by Jesus, heal the sick and raise the dead.

FAITH
Faith is the belief that something not confirmed or backed by logic will become reality.
No; faith is much more: Faith is the conviction that whatever you hope and pray for HAS ALREADY BEEN GRANTED.
‘This is the confidence we have in approaching God: that if we ask anything according to his will, he hears us. And if we know that he hears us – whatever we ask – we know that we have what we ask of him. 1 John 5:14-15
Jesus said, “I tell you the truth, anyone who has faith in me will do what I have been doing. He will do even greater things than these, because I am going to the Father.”
Since Faith can not be logically proven it can be assumed that Faith is entirely spiritual. It is important to keep that in mind. When one tries to explain or prove Faith through worldly means, one becomes instantly aware that by worldly means Faith cannot be explained.
“Lord if it’s you,” Peter replied, “tell me to come to you on the water.” “Come,” he said. Then Peter got down out of the boat, walked on the water and came toward Jesus. But when he saw the wind, he was afraid and, beginning to sink, cried out, “Lord, save me!” Immediately Jesus reached out his hand and caught him. “You of little faith,” he said, “why did you doubt?” Matthew 14:28-31
This is proof that believing in the power of worldly things, in this instance wind, distracts from faith and causes doubt. Once this happens we no longer operate in spirit but in the world. We must remember that the world is the domain of the devil ( the master of lies) and it is in his interest that we have little or no faith.
Do not conform any longer to the pattern of this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind. Then you will be able to test and approve what God’s will is—his good pleasing and perfect will Romans 12:2
It is written:”I believed; therefore I have spoken.” With that same spirit of faith we also believe and therefore speak. 2 Corinthians 4:13
Jesus said to them, ”Go into all the world and preach the good news to all creation.” Mark 16:15

The next diocesan OSL meeting is on the 20th of September 10AM- Noon

THE DIOCESAN ORDER OF ST. LUKE

1. All healing comes from God: “I only do what I see the Father doing”
2. Jesus left with us the Holy Spirit: “You will do even greater things then I”
3.Even though in human flesh (because of sin), we ARE the children of GOD, the children of light.
4 Although human We are in spiritual warfare NOT worldly warfare. Our enemy is satan NOT another human.
5. Jesus provides us with the power to win this war with the Holy Spirit being our standard bearer.

Christians unite- take Jesus off the shelf and make Him your number one priority. The result will be love, joy, health and life everlasting. The Holy Spirit will be activated and the legions of Guardian Angels will form an invincible shield.

Luke 10 New International Version (NIV)

Jesus Sends Out the Seventy-Two

10 After this the Lord appointed seventy-two[a] others and sent them two by two ahead of him to every town and place where he was about to go. He told them, “The harvest is plentiful, but the workers are few. Ask the Lord of the harvest, therefore, to send out workers into his harvest field.Go! I am sending you out like lambs among wolves. Do not take a purse or bag or sandals; and do not greet anyone on the road.

“When you enter a house, first say, ‘Peace to this house.’ If someone who promotes peace is there, your peace will rest on them; if not, it will return to you. Stay there, eating and drinking whatever they give you, for the worker deserves his wages. Do not move around from house to house.

“When you enter a town and are welcomed, eat what is offered to you. Heal the sick who are there and tell them, ‘The kingdom of God has come near to you.’ 10 But when you enter a town and are not welcomed, go into its streets and say, 11 ‘Even the dust of your town we wipe from our feet as a warning to you. Yet be sure of this: The kingdom of God has come near.’ 12 I tell you, it will be more bearable on that day for Sodom than for that town.

13 “Woe to you, Chorazin! Woe to you, Bethsaida! For if the miracles that were performed in you had been performed in Tyre and Sidon, they would have repented long ago, sitting in sackcloth and ashes. 14 But it will be more bearable for Tyre and Sidon at the judgment than for you. 15 And you, Capernaum, will you be lifted to the heavens? No, you will go down to Hades.[b]

16 “Whoever listens to you listens to me; whoever rejects you rejects me; but whoever rejects me rejects him who sent me.”

1 Corinthians 12 New International Reader’s Version (NIRV)

ts of the Holy Spirit

12 Brothers and sisters, I want you to know about the gifts of the Holy Spirit.

You know that at one time you were unbelievers. You were somehow drawn away to worship statues of gods that couldn’t even speak. So I tell you that no one who is speaking with the help of God’s Spirit says, “May Jesus be cursed.” And without the help of the Holy Spirit no one can say, “Jesus is Lord.”

There are different kinds of gifts. But they are all given by the same Spirit. There are different ways to serve. But they all come from the same Lord. There are different ways to work. But the same God makes it possible for all of us to have all those different things.

The Holy Spirit is given to each of us in a special way. That is for the good of all. To some people the Spirit gives the message of wisdom. To others the same Spirit gives the message of knowledge. To others the same Spirit gives faith. To others that one Spirit gives gifts of healing. 10 To others he gives the power to do miracles. To others he gives the ability to prophesy. To others he gives the ability to tell the spirits apart. To others he gives the ability to speak in different kinds of languages they had not known before. And to still others he gives the ability to explain what was said in those languages.

11 All of the gifts are produced by one and the same Spirit. He gives them to each person, just as he decides.

There is nothing in the world that could even be registered in comparison of the Power of the Holy Ghost guided by the Love of the Father and enabled by Jesus. Here is the problem satan and free will. Satan uses the world (nature) to fabricate his lies (he is the master of all lies) and we living in this world are to easily swayed by these lies. God knows and provided us with all necessary weapons to overcome these lies. Originally God gave us stewardship over all, using our given free will we ceded our authority and handed it to satan. Jesus through his death on the cross redeemed us and by his stripes (his precious blood) we are healed. Here again comes ‘free will’Jesus will not force us to take his gifts no matter how great his and The Fathers love is for us. It is impossible for God  to go against his promise of free will. To assist us Jesus left with us the Holy Spirit (our red phone line directly to the Father). We are left with a choice (free will) 1. do we want to believe satan and be part of this word? 2. do we forgo the world and turn to the Father so that all we do Will be in the name of Jesus performed by the Holy Spirit to the Glory and Honor of the Father. Two things to consider 1 our lifetime in this world is so short that I doubt that we could even measure it in comparison to eternity. 2. our spiritual lifetime is ETERNAL

Texas Teaching

by: Mike Endicott

This  May I’m going to Texas to teach on the kingdom of God.

See if you can come!

The kingdom of God is where Christ rules, where his will is done. How much we all need to see it grow!

Can we help? Can we get into partnership with God to see it spread?
Is that asking too much of you and me? Is it asking too much of God?

Come and find out!
This is transformational, life-changing, ordinary people can become extraordinary when working with God in the kingdom.
